A Jewish wedding photographer falls in love with a klezmer clarinetist and pretends to be filming a documentary in order to spend time with her. Their fake project takes them on a real-life journey through Eastern Europe in search of lost klezmer melodies and remnants of Yiddish culture. A hybrid of documentary and fiction.
