After a traumatic incident during his residence, the young medical student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) is transferred to a rural hospital for a new start. Observing that James finds it difficult to connect with patients, Dr. Harrison (stadium veteran and Michael Potts screen actor) suggests that he was following a course focused on bedside and facilitates more relationships deep with patients.
