After a traumatic incident during his residence, the young medical student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) transfers to a rural hospital for a new start. Noting that James has trouble and has difficulties in relation to patients, Dr. Harrison (veteran on stage and actor of Michael Potts Screen) suggests that he takes a targeted class and facilitates deeper relationships with patients.
